Little Aunt takes Crystal and Isabel to attend an event in their kindergarden.

From June 25 to June 28, 2009, we went for a trip to Putuo Mount.

Mount Putuo is an island located to the south-east of Shanghai, in Zhoushan prefecture of Zhejiang province, China. It is famous in Chinese Buddhism, and is considered the bodhimanda of Avalokitesvara (Guan Yin), a revered Bodhisattva in many parts of East Asia. Mount Putuo is one of the four sacred mountains in Chinese Buddhism, the others being Mount Wutai, Mount Jiuhua, and Mount Emei (Bodhimandas for Manjushri, Ksitigarbha, and Samantabhadra, respectively).

The name Putuo derives from “Potalaka” the mountain residence of Guanyin in the Avatamsaka Sutra.

On June 6th, we came to Crystal’s painting school to see an exhibition.

On June 1st Kids Festival, we came to Liugang’s hotel to have all the kids to celebrate their festival together. The kids gather inside the Hello Kitty room to have some fun.

The youngest kid, Jinlin, also comes this time.

A group of 19 people went to Chong Ming Island to have a short break during the May 1st Holiday. We drove and took a ferry to arrive at our hotel on Chong Ming Island on May 27th night.
On May 28th, we went to Dongping National Park. It’s a very nice park.

On the second day, May 29th, we went to Xisha Geopark.

We had a trip to Tianjin from May 1 to May 3rd, 2009.
Day 1: We went to visit Dad’s Aunt in Tianjin and her whole family.

Also, we made a tour to an extremely expensive house decorated by lots of china, called china house.

Day 2: Dad took Crystal and Isabel to a sea port. We picked up lots of shells along the sea.

Day 3: We spent the last day to visit Five Grand Roads in Tianjin. There are lots of famous people stayed in this area around one hundred years ago, including the last emperor of China. There were many expensive and beautiful buildings constructed during that period.

Crystal and Isabel’s kindergarden holds an event to paint T-shirt by themselves.

This is painted by Isabel with help from her kindergarden teacher.

We bring Cyrstal to attend a TV program on April 11th, 2009. It’s a very popular TV programs for kids. Many kids around this area come to participate in the event. Crystal has a lot of fun with her classmates and other kids. The TV program will be broadcasted some time later.

We took Crystal to have an interview at an elementary school. Crystal got accepted after a couple of days.

We also bought a new house about 15 minutes away from the elementary school.

Crystal’s kindergarden takes all the kids to paint in a park. Dandan comes along as well. After the painting, we also have played some games together. It’s fun.
