Beijing Olympic 2008 Trip Day 1 and Day 2

Crystal and Dad went to Beijing to watch some Olympic games. We stayed in Beijing from Aug. 14th to Aug. 22th.

Day 1 Aug. 14th: Arrive in Beijing in the late night by flight.

Day 2 Aug. 15th: In the morning, we go to Beijing Wukesong Sports Center Baseball Field to watch the game between China and Taiwan. The game is very exciting. It is a 3-3 tie after 11 innings. Then in the last inning, Taiwan wins 4 points. Everyone thinks that China would lose the game. Then, in thee last half inning, China wins 5 points. The final score: 8-7, China wins.

In the night, we go to Beijing Science and Technology University Gymnasium to watch Judo Women +78 kg final and Men +100 kg final. Chinese athlete Yang Xiuli wins in Judo Women’s +78kg and Ishii from Japan wins Men’s +100kg.

Isabel’s first day in kindergarden

Isabel is 3 months to 3 years old. She is at the age of attending the kindergarden. Because there are so many kids who need to go to kindergarden each year. It’s not that easy to find a good one because of short of available positions. After spending a couple of months, mom finally get Isabel to be accepted by the same kindergarden that Crystal is attending now. August 1st is the first day that Isabel goes to the kindergarden.

jigsaw puzzles and Tingting’s birday party

Crystal is quite good at jigsaw puzzles. She can finish 350 pieces jigsaw puzzles very easily. Much faster than Dad. That surprisings me a little.

Crystal and Isabel also attent Tingting’s brithday party. We have many kids in the party.

Vocation to Xiamen

Crystal and Isabel went to a vocation with Mom, Grandparents and little Aunt. They stayed in Xiamen for 5 days.

Shanghai Zoo and Shanghai Science & Technology Meseum

On June 1st Children’s holiday, I took Crystal and Isabel to the Shanghai Zoo. Crystal is brave to walk into a tiolet by herself alone. She is naughty and brave. Later, she dares to sit on an elephant for the first time.

On June 8th, we went to Shanghai Science & Technology Meseum with Dandan’s family. Isabel is brave enough to have a live TV performance.

Lovely sisters

Crystal and Isabel are hanling themselves very well these days. Although there are always fights between each other. But that’s normal.

We went to Shanghai Binjiang Forest Park with Tingting and Beibei. Shanghai Binjiang Forest Park is the best park in Shanghai, by my opinion.

Peach festival at Nanhui

Spring is coming and flowers are blooming. We go to Nanhui for a Peach festival. The flowers smell very good and all thoese different colors of Peach flowers are very beautiful.

An old friend from Toronto Jiaqing is coming to Shanghai to visit us.

Grandma’s sisters also come from Changchun to visit us in Shanghai.

A drawing event at Crystal’s kindergarden

Crystal’s kindergardent has a family event at the last weekend every month. This month, we have a drawing event. 4 or 5 kids, divided by small teams, draw on a small piece of paper together. After all teams finish, all the papers will be attached together to become a big piece of drawing.

A trip to Jiaxing

Crystal and Isabel went to a trip to Jiaxing on Feb. 12th.

Isabel is very healthy. She follows everything her elder sister does. She likes to perform like this a couple of times each day.
