CRYSTAL AND ISABEL This is a weblog for Crystal Sun Zhao and Isabel Sun Zhao. As parents, we'd like to keep the records for them as much as we can.

On May 1st, 2011, we had a one-day trip to 青浦薰衣草园.

From April 3rd to 5th, 2011, we went for a 3 days’ trip to 安吉 with Dandan’s family.

Day 1, April 3rd, 2011: we drove from Shanghai to 安吉藏龙百瀑.

Day 2, April 4th, 2011: we visited 天下银坑 and 神秘部落村.

Day 3, April 5th, 2011: we went to visit 黄浦江源龙王山.

We took a family picture together at home.

We went for Japan to have a vocation from Jan. 31st to Feb. 12th.
Day 1, Jan. 31st: We took the airplance from Shanghai to Ibaraki airport on Jan. 31st. Luckily, we found the seats in the bus from Ibaraki airport to Tokyo train stataion. At the Tokyo train station, we got the Japan Rail Pass which I bought in Shanghai. Then we had a brief lunch tand took the train from Tokyo to Kyoto, the former imperial capital of Japan.

Day 2, Feb. 1st, 2011: in Kyoto, we visited Kyoto Kiyomizu Temple, Kyoto Yasaka(八坂神社) and Gardens of Kyoto(京都御苑).

Day 3, Feb. 2nd, 2011: still in Kyoto, we visited Nijo Castle(二条城).

Day 4, Feb. 3rd, 2011: we took the early train from Kyoto to Tokyo. In Tokyo, we visited Ginza(银座).

Day 5, Feb. 4th, 2011: Crystal, Isabel and Mom went to visit Disneyland in Tokyo. They had a lot of fun there.

Day 6, Feb. 5th, 2011: we headed north by train. In-between, we stayed one night in Hakodate.

Day 7, Feb. 6th, 2011: we arrived at Noboribetsu(登别) to visit Jigokudani(地狱谷) and taste the famous Japanese style hot spring waters.

Day 8, Feb. 7th, 2011: we took the train again to arrive at Sapporo(札幌).

Day 9, Feb. 8th, 2011: we went to Sapporo Moiwayama skiing ground for skiing. Crystal and Dad have tried almost every slope in this ski resort. Isabel and Mom had a lot of fun in the lodge. Unfortunately, no picture today.

Day 10, Feb. 9th, 2011: we took the specific train to Asahiyama Zoo(旭山动物园).

Day 11, Feb. 10th, 2011: we took a one-day trip to visit Otaru(小樽).

Day 12, Feb. 11th, 2011: we took a whole day train from Sapporo to Tokyo.

Day 13, Feb. 12th, 2011: we took the early flight from Ibaraki airport back to Shanghai.

On Jan. 19th, 2011, there is a very big snow in Shanghai. Check those pictures.

Isabel performs in Anting to celebrate the New Year.

On New Year’s day, we went to 静思园 to attend the third anniversary of Mom’s MBA association. On stage, our family have won the third, the second and the first prize in a row! Never happened before 🙂

Crystal performed on stage at her school’s concert.

Crystal is 8 years old now. We have birthday cake together at home.

Isabel is 5 years old. She brought a cake to her kindergarden to share the cake with her classmates.
