CRYSTAL AND ISABEL This is a weblog for Crystal Sun Zhao and Isabel Sun Zhao. As parents, we'd like to keep the records for them as much as we can.

Wensi and Grandma come to visit us in Vancouver in October, 2018. They stayed with us for about 1 month.

Dandan will study at UofT from Sep., 2018. Zhao Ying and Pangpang came to Vancouver to stay at our home for a few days.

On August 27th, we took them to Stanley Park to take a bicycle ride.

On August 28th, I took Zhao Ying and Pangpang to jog the Buntzen Lake Trail.

On September 19th, I got my new road bicycle: Specialized Tarmac Expert.

While Crystal and Isabel went back to Shanghai in July 2018, Wendy and I went for a trip to Maui. We stay at Maui from July 5th to 23rd.

On July 7th, we hiked the Hoapili trail.

On July 10th, we visited Kaumahina State Wayside, Haiku.

On July 11th, I went to Waihee Ridge Trail by myself.

On July 12th, we drove for West Maui Loop.

On July 13th, I rode a bicycle for West Maui Loop. I rent the bicycle 45 USD per day.

On July 14th, Wendy and I hiked Waihou Spring Trail.

On July 15th, I hiked Lahaina Pali Trail by myself.

On July 16th, I tried to RIDING “UP” HALEAKALA, but got a flat tire. Have to stop in the middle. Wendy and I then drove to the top of Haleakala National Park.

On July 17th, I drove to Haleakala National Park by myself. The wind that day is very, very strong.

On July 18th, Wendy and I drove the Road to Hana. We stopped at a few places and came back after we got to the Halfway mark.

On July 19th, we stayed at Maalaea.

On July 21st, we hiked Kapalua Coastal Trail in Lahaina. We saw the rainbow.

On July 22nd, we took the plane to Big Island. We saw the alive volcano at the Big Island.

On July 23rd, the last day, we went to The Kepaniwai Park before we flew back to Vancouver.

Isabel represents her school, Scott Creek Middle School, to attend Badminton district matches between all the schools in the tricity. Her team is number 3, lost in the semi.

We went to Orlando with Mei and Song during the 2018 spring break. We arrived at Orlando airport on March 25th afternoon.

On March 26th, Crystal, Isabel and me visited Orlando Universal Studio.

On March 27th, three of us visited the Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park.

On March 28th, Crystal, Isabel, Wendy, Mei, Song and me six of us visited Orlando Walt Disney World.

On March 29th, we drove down Orlando to Key West. We stopped in the middle to take a Airboat Tour at Everglades National Park.

On March 30th, we visited Southernmost Point and The Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum in Key West.

March 30th late afternoon, we left Key West. On March 31st, we visited Anhinga Trail & Gumbo Limbo Trail in Everglades National Park. We saw many alligators along the Anhinga Trail.

On April 1st, we drove back to Orlando airport and flew back to Vancouver.

I took Isabel for skiing a few more times at Mount Seymour in January, 2018.

We didn’t go anywhere during the Christmas and New Year’s time. I just took Isabel for skiing a few times at Mount Seymour. Two deers came to visit our home on Dec. 25th.

I went back China from Oct. 23rd to Nov. 24th, 2017.

I rode Xu’s mountain bike in Wuhan for a few times.

I visited Hanoi, Vietnam from Nov. 9th to 12th, 2017.

On Nov. 10th, I visited 越南宁平三古(Tam Coc), “陆上的下龙湾”. Tam Coc also has the tomb of Vietnam’s first emperor.

On Nov. 11th, I visited Ha Long Bay, 下龙湾.

From Nov. 12th to 15th 2017, I was in Siem Reap, 暹粒市. In 13th and 14th two days, I visit about 10 temples, the most famous Angkor Wat, 吴哥窟.

I got back in Wuhan on Nov. 15th. On Nov. 24th, I flied back to Vancouver.

Five of us, Heidi, Isabel, Crystal, Wendy and Jimmy, went for a 52 days’ trip in Europe. It’s from July 4 to August 24, 2017. Following is our detailed schedule:
