CRYSTAL AND ISABEL This is a weblog for Crystal Sun Zhao and Isabel Sun Zhao. As parents, we'd like to keep the records for them as much as we can.

During the Christmas holiday 2019, Isabel, mom and dad went to skiing at Big White with Pei 3’s family.

Xu’s family came to spend some time in Vancouver, BC. 王萍 and 左左 came safely on July 9th, 2019. There was a problem for 右右’s visa. Xu and 右右 came 20 days later, on July 30th, 2019.

During their stay, both 左左 and 右右 go to summer camp at SFU every day from Monday to Friday. On August 4th, 2019, I took them to Whistler to try Peak 2 Peak Gondola.

On August 10th and 11th, I took them to Victoria. We went to the Butchart Gardens and Hatley Park National Historic Site.

Crystal started to work at Papa John’s Pizza in July 2019. This is the first pay cheque from her work.

Isabel has graduated from Scott Creek Middle School. On June 26th, 2019, there is a graduation ceremony at the school.

Isabel represented her school, Scott Creek Middle School, to attend Badminton district matches between all the schools in the tricity on May 29th, 2019. Last year, her team was number 3, lost is the semi. This year, Isabel and her friend finally won the girls’ double.

Dad finally finished the full marathon the first time on May 5th, 2019. The time is 4:18:06.

Our whole family took a trip to Maui.

On Dec. 26th, 2018, Isabel and Dad walked the Maui Lahaina Pali Trail.

On Dec. 27th, 2018, we took a West Maui Loop.

On Dec. 28th, 2018, Maui Iao Valley State Park.

On Dec. 29th, 2019, Isabel and Dad tried Surfing the first time in life. After surfing lesstion, we tried the best burger in Maui. 🙂

On Dec. 31st, 2018, the last day of 2018, Lahaina.

On Jan. 1st, 2019, Maui Hoapili Trail.

On Jan. 2nd, 2019, Kealia Coastal Boardwalk.

On Jan. 3rd, 2019, Lahaina.

On Jan. 4th, 2019, Haleakala National Park, Maui.

Isabel is officially 13 years old and Crystal is 16 years old now.

In November, I went to attend Medica 2018 in Dusseldurf, Germany.

Wensi and Grandma come to visit us in Vancouver in October, 2018. They stayed with us for about 1 month.

Dandan will study at UofT from Sep., 2018. Zhao Ying and Pangpang came to Vancouver to stay at our home for a few days.

On August 27th, we took them to Stanley Park to take a bicycle ride.

On August 28th, I took Zhao Ying and Pangpang to jog the Buntzen Lake Trail.

On September 19th, I got my new road bicycle: Specialized Tarmac Expert.
